In order to follow the Sweet Spot Solution properly, the very first week is focused on measuring and assessing so we can get your baseline. This will be crucial in you having a positive experience throughout the course. In fact, without this step, it can be difficult to even know how far you’ve come!

While the Sweet Spot Solution can be implemented without any special supplements, supplies, or equipment, like with everything else in life, there are tools that can accelerate your progress towards your goals.

Like a carpenter who doesn’t NEED power tools to do his work, he or she certainly appreciates them for the precision and efficiency they afford.

    Track Your Blood Sugar Every Morning Upon Waking and One Meal Per Day

    This week, you need to track your blood sugar for at least one meal per day. Ideally, you’ll track your high carb favorite meals, your binge meals, your favorite desserts, and your healthy choices, as well. In order to get the best results from the Sweet Spot Solution, you need to know how your body responds to your favorite foods. I’ve noticed that when some people read this step, they try to be ‘good’ and only track meals that are ‘healthy’ or ‘low-glycemic.’ They don’t want people to know how high their blood sugar numbers can be.Please be honest and track your higher carb meals, too. If you try to show your best self and not the honest version of yourself, you are going to struggle in the weeks to come. These measurements will help you determine your Optimal Blood Sugar Range next week. If you’ve fudged them in any way, the Sweet Spot Solution will not be as easy as it is supposed to be because you’ll be using an Optimal Range that isn’t suited for your body.Alright, here’s what you need to track:

    1. Learn to test your blood sugar with these videos and resources.
    2. Test your fasting blood sugar every morning upon waking and every night right before bed.
    3. Measure your blood sugar before eating your meal. Note the time.
    4. Eat the meal.
    5. Measure your blood sugar immediately after eating.
    6. Measure your blood sugar again at 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, 90 minutes, 2 hours, and every hour until your next meal.
    7. If you choose, you can do this with every meal. The more you track, the more information you have to make this experience educational, successful, and life-changing.
    8. Place all of these findings in your Glucose Tracker.
