Action Plan for Your Clients

#1: Have your clients assess their protein intake.

Have your clients use an online resource like www.fitday.com or www.cronometer.com to assess their protein intake at each meal.

 

 

#2: Help your clients determine if they are in a state of protein excess or deficiency.

Protein – Signs of Excess and Deficiency: Review the document with your clients to determine if they have indications of protein excess or deficiency.

 

 

#3: Adjust your client’s diet as needed.

Review the food charts in the slides with your clients for information on how to adjust their diet to include more protein, if needed.

Protein Slides: View the slides that accompany the video with your clients, and have them take notes as they follow along.

 

 

#4: Assess your clients’ digestion.

Digestive Function Assessment: Have your clients assess their digestion to determine their current state of digestive health.  Consider having them temporarily add protein powder as a quick source of protein if is determined that they potentially have low stomach acid or pancreatic enzyme insufficiency.
