1 | Review the major hormones and find someone to whom you can practice explaining. The more you teach, the easier it gets to remember. | |
2 | Explore the Advanced Topics and check out the hypothalamus flashcards if you need help with remembering things. | |
3 | Incorporate the hormone harmonizing diet and lifestyle factors into your own life and teach them to your clients and/or family members. |
These action steps are optional to reinforce your learning. Completing these steps is beneficial in putting your newfound knowledge to use, but not required to complete the module.
Action Steps:
- Find a client or family member to offer the “Body Freedom Assessment” to
- Determine which pillars are out of balance
- Using the core content strategies, create an action plan for your client/family member incorporating activities to suggest for each of the out of balance areas
- Choose 3 items you feel are the highest priority and present to your client/family member
- Offer support and guidance to assist your client/family member in putting your suggestions into action
- Follow-up after a week or so
- If your client/family member has been successful, offer them another 3 action steps and the resources they need to complete them
- Continue to follow-up, offer support and assign action steps until your client/family member has completed all the steps on your plan
- Follow-up by having your client/family member complete the body freedom assessment to determine their next steps
