Begin a routine of burst training and moderate aerobics.  Monitor the effects on your own blood glucose.

Practice explaining the mechanisms by which exercise benefits blood sugar balance to family members or clients in a simple way they can understand.

Assign a client or loved one to do bursts for a week and observe how his/her body responds in terms of energy, blood sugar, weight, and memory.

These action steps are optional to reinforce your learning. Completing these steps is beneficial in putting your newfound knowledge to use, but not required to complete the module.
