How to Get Your Methylation and Detox Pathways SNPs Table

  1. Order test kit at www.23andme.com
  2. When results arrive, follow instructions for  downloading raw data file.
  3. Go to http://geneticgenie.org/ and click on “methylation analysis” next to HOME on the main navigation bar.
  4. Click “browse” and find the folder containing the 23 and me raw data.
  5. Click “submit”.
  6. Save the results that appear on the screen by clicking “print” and choosing PDF, print, save to file or by doing a screen capture.
  7. Click on “Detox Profile”, right next to methylation analysis.
  8. Click “browse” and find the folder containing the 23 and me raw data.
  9. Click “submit”.
  10. Save the results that appear on the screen by clicking print and choosing PDF, print, save to file or by doing a screen capture.

There is a pretty good description of what each NP means on the detox profile.  The methylation profile is devoid of explanation.  You can find some explanation of this here.
