Confirm and check as complete if you've read and understood objectives.

As you work through the materials, your goals by the end will be to:

  • Understand the physiology and function of the circulatory and respiratory systems, so you can educate your clients as to the impact these systems have upon overall health and vitality.
  • Become familiar with the vascular system, blood lipids, and apolipoproteins and know the steps clients need to take to reverse any negative impact that cardiovascular dysfunction may have on their health.
  • Understand how to assess cardiovascular and respiratory system function to aid in determining clients’ overall health status.
  • Understand and be able to recognize the difference between, and symptoms of, asthma, infectious disease, pneumonia, allergies, inflammation, emphysema, cancer, and COPD – so that you can guide your clients to the best nutrient and lifestyle choices for respiratory system recovery.
  • Explain and understand the conditions that can contribute to lipid abnormalities, so that you can help clients to know how to test for and avoid these conditions.
  • Be familiar with the types of cardiovascular dysfunction and the symptoms of each, so that your clients will be able to recognize any symptoms while they are still more easily corrected.
  • Be able to interpret a blood lipids profile, so that your clients can easily see their markers of cardiovascular health and know what diet and lifestyle steps they need to take for optimum stamina and energy.
